LO’s Summer Lists

A little about LO.

LO is splitting her summer between the people she loves, some solo recharging, and the traditions she looks forward to every year — equal parts adventure and rest.

Where She’s Headed

  • Bali for yoga, rest, and a full reset. 
  • The beach (and the crabs that come with it) — a non-negotiable stop somewhere along the East Coast.
  • Pool days, BBQs, and local music festivals — her summer essentials.
  • Long weekend trips to catch up with friends.

What She’s Reading

A fiction lover through and through — crime, suspense, psychological, historical, all of it. This summer’s list celebrates Black female authors, mixing new releases with a few she’s been meaning to get to (three of these authors are repeat favorites — once LO’s a fan, she reads everything they write).

What She’s Watching

A mix of new shows and old favorites finally back with new seasons: Survival of the Thickest, Ted Lasso, House of the Dragon, Silo, Five Star Weekend, and Lanterns.
