Lauren’s Summer Adventure List

A little about Lauren.

Lauren is heading into her first summer as a newlywed, and she’s determined to make the most of it. Whether it’s a spontaneous day trip with her husband, being a tourist in her own town, or finding a dog-friendly adventure for their two pups, she’s always up for making memories and collecting stories along the way.

Lately, a lot of that adventure has been happening a little closer to home. Lauren and her husband are nurturing a budding garden this summer, learning as they go and celebrating every new sprout, bloom, and harvest. She’s also hoping to spend more evenings outside, support local businesses, and say yes to a few last-minute plans that turn into unforgettable experiences.

For Lauren, summer isn’t about checking off a list. It’s about slowing down, staying curious, and enjoying the people (and dogs) who make every adventure better.

Here are the adventures she’s pursuing this summer.

Plan a spontaneous day trip with her husband: Pick a destination, hit the road, and see where the day takes them.

Explore a new South Carolina town: There are too many great places nearby that she hasn’t experienced yet.

Take her dogs on more adventures: New trails, dog-friendly patios, and plenty of opportunities to sniff somewhere new.

Help her garden thrive: Lauren’s garden is still a work in progress, and she’s excited to see what she can grow this season.

Learn a new skill: Something that challenges her and gets her out of her routine.

Hike a trail she’s never done before: The bigger the view at the end, the better.

Support more local businesses: From coffee shops to restaurants to local markets, she wants to discover more hidden gems.

Create a new tradition with her husband: Since this is their first summer as newlyweds, it feels like the perfect time to start one.

Spend more evenings outside: Whether it’s walking the dogs, working in the garden, or simply enjoying a sunset.

Make a memory she’ll still be talking about next summer: The kind of experience that becomes an instant favorite story.
